  • What is Jawwy eSIM?

    Since Jawwy has always been coping with the expedite of technology to provide the eSIM which is an
    embedded chip in your device that does not involve any physical SIM card, where information is updated
    wirelessly enabling for a second number without the need of new SIM cards.

  • What are the advantages of an eSIM?

    eSIM’s are easy to activate without the need of physical swapping of cards to install a connection. They also
    allow for another physical SIM to be used at the same time.

  • What devices currently support Dual SIM with an eSIM?

    The Apple® iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone SE, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max & iPhone
    XR have both a physical SIM card and an eSIM.

    For Apple® devices, eSIM is supported on iOS version 12.1 or higher, please upgrade to the latest software
    version on these eligible handsets and make it eSIM ready.

  • Where can I get the new eSIM?

    You can get a new eSIM or replace your existing physical SIM with an eSIM for now only by visiting Jawwy Online.

  • Will all my current services work if I replaced my physical SIM with the eSIM?

    Yes, all your existing services and tariffs will exist on your new eSIM.

  • How can I find out more information about Dual SIM with an eSIM on iPhone?

  • What are the steps to get and activate my Jawwy eSIM?

    1. Visit Jawwy eShop to get your eSIM voucher.

    2. Make sure your eSIM compatible device is updated to the latest iOS.

    3. Ensure you are connected to the internet through mobile data or Wifi.

    4. Go to “Settings”, and tap “Cellular”.

    5. After that tap “Add Cellular Plan” then scan the QR code from your eSIM voucher.

    6. Label your eSIM as a primary or secondary line as your preference, and confirm by tapping “Add Cellular Plan”.

    This eSIM QR Code is for activating your eSIM profile and should be kept confidential. Please ensure you do
    not share it with others physically or as a picture before activating it on your device. Jawwy is not responsible
    nor liable for any such warranted or unwarranted disclosure on your part.

  • What if I want to cancel my Jawwy eSIM and return to the physical SIM? Is this is possible?

    Yes, you can always replace your eSIM with the traditional physical SIM from here and you will be charged a
    SIM replacement fee of SAR 28.75

  • Can I buy more than one eSIM on the same account?

    Yes, you can have up to 3 numbers in each account, if you already have 1 physical SIM, then you can have up
    to 2 eSIMs only.

  • What do I need to do if I lose my eSIM QR Code?

    If you lose your eSIM QR Code before scanning it, please contact customer care to block your number to avoid
    someone else scanning this code and using the number.

  • What if I lose my eSIM QR code and want to receive it again?

    You will need to get a replacement eSIM through our

  • Will my eSIM on iPhone work while roaming?

    Yes, it will work while roaming.

  • Can I get an eSIM if I have transferred my number from another network provider or change my package from stc?

    Yes, you can get eSIM even if you have transferred your number to Jawwy.

  • Can I gift my eSIM to other Jawwy subscriber?

    No, you can’t.

  • What if I’m using the eSIM and want to move my number from one account to another?

    You can switch from one Jawwy account to another using the Jawwy app without making any change on

  • How many times can I use the eSIM QR code on my device?

    The eSIM QR code and voucher can only be used/downloaded unlimited times on the same device. The QR
    code and voucher cannot be re-used on any other devices once they have been used on a particular device.

  • What should I do if I will switch my mobile phone to a new device while using the eSIM?

    If you wish to switch your eSIM compatible device to a new device, you need to remove your eSIM profile from
    the existing device first, and then get a replacement eSIM to add it to the new device.

  • What should I do if I lose my device with the eSIM profile loaded on it?

    If you lose your device or it is stolen and the eSIM profile is loaded on it, please ensure to contact Jawwy
    immediately to block your number. After that, you will need to get a replacement eSIM.
    Jawwy will not be responsible or liable for any such use. You will be able to reactivate your SIM on the same or
    a new device only after obtaining a new QR code from Jawwy.

  • How can I remove my eSIM profile from my device?

    1. Go to “Settings” and tap “Cellular”.

    2. Tap the cellular plan you want to remove.

    3. Then tap “Remove Cellular Plan”.

  • What should I do if I purchase an eSIM by mistake instead of a Normal SIM?

    If you select a new Jawwy number or changing your package from stc, and you haven’t activated the received
    eSIM yet, then please contact customer care for support.
    If you opt to transfer your mobile number from another operator, then you will need to place a new order.

  • How many eSIM profiles can I use on my device?

    You can have multiple eSIM profiles in a device. However, only one eSIM profile will be active.

  • How often can the QR code I get with my eSIM voucher be used?

    When the eSIM is activated on a specific device, it cannot then be used on any other device. If you change
    device, you will need to get a new voucher with a new QR code.

  • Why might I need to use the QR Code more than once?

    The QR Code might be used in case you have factory reset your device (or) the QR Code have got deleted.

  • Is it possible to activate two eSIM numbers at the same time?

    No, only one eSIM can be used at any one time.

  • Is it possible to use the eSIM number without having a normal SIM in the device?

    Yes, the eSIM can be used without also having a normal SIM in the device

  • Is it possible to use cellular data on multiple SIMs with eSIM? 

    One number at a time can use cellular data. To change which number uses cellular data, follow these steps: 
    Go to Settings.

    1. Tap either Cellular or Mobile Data.

    2. Tap Cellular Data. Tap the number you want to use cellular data.  

    3. If you turn on Allow Cellular Data Switching, then while you're on a voice call on your voice-only number, that number automatically switches to use voice and data.* This lets you use both voice and data while on the call.

    If you turn off Allow Cellular Data Switching and you're active on a voice number that isn't your designated cellular-data number, then cellular data won't work while you're on the call.

    To turn on Allow Cellular Data Switching, follow these steps:

    1. Go to Settings.

    2. Tap either Cellular or Mobile Data.

    3. Tap Cellular Data.

    4. Turn on Allow Cellular Data Switching.
